Placeholder copy — replace with a notice reviewed by your legal counsel before relying on it.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage to make Pluckly work.

2. Essential

We use local and session storage to remember your in-progress product, your unlock session after payment, and similar essential state. Without these, the service cannot function.

3. Payments

Stripe sets cookies during checkout to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. These are managed by Stripe and described in their cookie policy.

4. Analytics

We use lightweight analytics to understand aggregate usage of the service. Where required by law, we will request your consent before setting non-essential analytics cookies.

5. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential storage will prevent core features (such as completing a purchase or downloading your product) from working.

6. EEA / UK visitors (GDPR)

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following lawful bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:

  • Strictly necessary storage (your in-progress product, unlock session, payment session) is set without consent because the service cannot work without it.
  • Analytics and other non-essential cookies are set only after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage or emailing us.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. California visitors (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the CCPA / CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of your rights, email info@getpluckly.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out preference signal where applicable.
